In CNN.com technology news editor Scott Steinberg’s point of view, he sees video games as a huge part of the world of arts as he opened his article with two definitions of the word art in Merriam-Webster and Oxford Dictionary with both definitions seemingly qualifying video game creative collections after all. The article was accentuated with a snapshot in the game called Limbo as the view was more of a masterpiece appropriately fitting a frame and displayed in a photo gallery. These points of facts seem to directly address what critics like Roger Ebert’s comment is trying to say that video games don’t really fit as art pieces.

“Passage,” “Flower”, “Braid, “Another World”, “Myst” to cult classics like “Okami,” “BioShock” and “Ico,” are just few of the mentioned games having very deep perspective of artistic creations with each game scenarios these play things provide. He also uses the game “Graveyard” and mentions how the emotions and an actual experience over a cemetery is portrayed by this particular game. Steinberg stressfully defends the side of video developers as he continuously points out all other reasons why video games should be considered as a work of art more than a digitally played pass time.

The Day of Atonement sent to give rest for Jews stopping them from their daily activities such as writing, playing, cooking, and all other tasks was set for September 18 yearly as the most holiest day of the year also called Yom Kippur in the holy scriptures. the most divine date seem to set its relaunch as Mark DiMassimo, CEO of ad firm Digo, and Eric Yaverbaum decided to set it as today’s “No Device Day” as supposed to voluntarily let the Americans rest off their daily lives from all the technological devices that have conquered the continent instantly. This day is aimed to let the space age people to feel and live in the true sense of the world personally talking to each other, going to places just to deliver a message, and many other activities that can be done more enjoyably even without the ease and influence of all those technological devices.

Like the “Energy Saving Day” set as an eight hour event to switch off lights and all other devices, hopefully the same voluntary act with that just one day will push through successfully to be able to see the fruits of a day’s affair. The energy saving day was able to save a huge amount of generated power and fuel consumption, hopefully September 18 will have as much benefits and memories to gather.

An old adage may tell us that “Action speaks louder then Words” backed up with a song with a line saying “More than words is all you have to do to make it real…” but in the contrary, we always say that words is more painful darting across the heart more than a gun’s bullet can do, we also say that any words we utter and hear are all permanent across emotions and all across remembrance and memories. Whatever we say and argue on, words will always be the main expressive language we used over time and over experiences. We have collections of quotations, a lot of books for keeps, recorded audio tapes, lyrics extensified by melody, and all those pretty evidences how important words are to us.

As of YouTube, the video streaming site is concerned, one particular music video have recently attracted more than 300 viewing audience which is Cee Lo’s hit, entitled with two of the most explicit words. Although the video is described to be plain, simple and was solely flashed lyrics with randomly changed font styles and color backgrounds and was even called more of a video karaoke than a music video, it incredibly topped the streaming line of YouTube just because of the unique and straightforward words Cee Lo Green has used.
